Jeep is making everyone at the upcoming 2012 Portland Auto Show a happy camper by opening up Camp Jeep®, “a unique, interactive, off-road experience [for] consumers attending the 2012 Portland International Auto Show, January 26 – 29 at the Oregon Convention Center.” The gigantic 22,000-square foot exhibit allows camper-goers the chance to experience the on and off-road capabilities of the entire Jeep line-up without ever leaving the show floor.
“The Camp Jeep provides attendees to the Portland International Auto Show with a taste of the Jeep brand lifestyle and showcases the capability of the product lineup,” said Jim Morrison, Director of Jeep Brand Marketing. “Customers can experience first-hand the all-new Jeep vehicle lineup that has been successfully gaining sales traction in the market.”
The driving course is more difficult than anything you took in high school or college, as it highlights ground clearance, traction, stability, articulation and maneuverability. Product specialists will drive participants in 2012 Jeep vehicles, like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, over simulated fallen logs, am 18ft. mobile mountain, and down a gut-wrenching 30-degree wedge to demonstrate the vehicle’s body articulation.
Kids can enjoy the camp adjacent to the adult’s at the Jeep Kids Course, where kid-sized Jeep vehicles will be available for children attending the auto show in addition to a 25 foot Jeep Climbing wall. You can enjoy Jeep at every age.
Campers can choose from any SUV in the Jeep vehicle lineup, consisting of the Compass, Grand Cherokee, Liberty, Patriot, Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. If any badges are being given out at this camp, every Jeep deserves one for performance.
If you like the 2012 or used Jeep Liberty, Bloomington dealer, Sam Leman can send you in the right direction.
