The 2012 Jeep Wrangler refuses to compromise power

Over the years, SUVs and the minivans have become more and more alike. SUVs sacrificed ruggedness and power for convenience and styling as more and more families started to drive them. However, there is an exception to this rule, the 2012 Jeep Wrangler. The classic wrangler has refused to compromise power and capability like so many other mainstream SUVs, and it remains more iconic and popular than ever.

The 2012 Jeep Wrangler gets an added more powerful engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. The new engine delivers a significant 83 more horsepower than last year’s 3.8-liter V-6 and is winning lots of praise from Wrangler enthusiasts. You can still take off the doors, choose hard top or soft top, and drive up a mountain.

Refusing to loose any toughness has caused Wrangler sales to jump an astonishing 28% this year. Even in towns like Bloomington, Jeep Wranglers are seeing a spike in sales. Cult followers and Jeep lovers alike, appreciate that the Wrangler doesn’t try to be an SUV it’s not and love it for everything it is- rugged, powerful and awesome. I mean how many other vehicles actually look better covered in mud?

You only need 2-wheel drive? Too bad because the Wrangler only comes with 4-wheel drive, and come snow and rain, mountain or ravine you’ll be glad. The 2012 Wrangler Sport 4X4 with 285-horsepower V-6 and six-speed manual transmission for a starting price of $22,845 makes the 2012 Wrangler arguably the most off-road SUV capability for the best price.

The Jeep Wrangler is best for the driver who likes to feel the ride, enjoy the outdoors, and conquer the road, or lack there of. Ann Job of the Associated Press says it best, “But anyone who dislikes a numbing ride and who believes in really piloting an SUV, rather than merely going along for an insulated, sublime ride, will find the Wrangler, especially in Rubicon dress, a satisfying, one-of-a-kind experience.”

And if you’re looking for a used Jeep Wrangler, Bloomington dealer, Sam Leman has a selection of Wranglers that can’t be beat.
